Gilmor Engineering President and GEO Eli Goldhard has celebrated his 50th birthday as high as 15000 meters aboard MIG-29 Supersonic Fighter.
“My 50th anniversary is a special date for me – that is why I have met my birthday in such a special way”.
The aircraft has reached an altitude of 22 000 meters and the cruising speed of 2.6 mach (2.6 speed of sound).
“It seemed to me I was inside the rocket when we climbed straight vertically – so incredible was speed of climb. Nothing can compare with self piloting of a jet fighter”, said Mr. Goldard upon landing, “I keep theses feelings with me for a long time”.
A complex of aerobatic maneuvers also has been executed within the flight
